Housekeeping/Laundry Personnel

Responsible for the cleaning, organization, and sanitizing of resident rooms, hallways, congregate areas, nursing stations, offices, bath/shower rooms, floor surfaces, carpeted areas, dining rooms and activity areas in a professional manner.
Follow assigned cleaning schedule outlined by the housekeeping supervisor, including deep cleaning of rooms.
Continually monitor floor surfaces for wet, dirty spots, debris, and other safety hazards, and correct any unsafe conditions immediately.
Ensure the general cleanliness and appearance of the facility in according with state and federal law as they pertain to long term care.

Be of legal working age.
Be able to read and follow written directions.
Be able to communicate with residents and co-workers in English.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Work overtime as necessary/rotating weekends.
